Interns at Happy Shark Media are full-time members of our team. Coffee runs and menial tasks will not be on the agenda. We want you to learn, challenge yourself, have fun all the way through your internship. We have opportunities available throughout the year and we are always looking for creative, enthusiastic and inquisitive candidates.
Happy Shark Media is a young digital marketing agency that is here to challenge the status quo. As an intern, we do not require that you know everything about digital or that you have a lot of experience. If you love to learn, are ready to listen and show us what you can do, that all that matters to us.
Our team is small and quite tight-knit. Communication is clear and straight between departments and team members. As an intern, you will get to see first-hand how a marketing agency functions and will spend some time in each department, shadowing and helping team members. Then, you will become part of the team in a department of your choosing to specialize in a specific area of digital marketing and develop new skills.
Interns are welcome and encouraged to participate in brainstorming and strategic sessions, and are proactively involved in account work and assisting full-time team members on client work.
What is in it for you?
All our internships are six months long and are paid the minimum New York wage.
Happy Shark Media is an equal opportunity employer. We offer internships for current students, young graduates as well as motivated individuals with no college experience. Our internships do not require a strong experience in marketing. They are a good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education. You must be willing to learn, commit, listen and express yourself. We are seeking candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong customer service sensibilities. Interns must work effectively under pressure and as part of a team. Our internships are Monday to Friday, 40 hours a well.
